The Demo Team

The PD Factory Team is comprised of five, highly-skilled, aerial athletes. The team's vast experience in all aspects of modern skydiving gives it the skill and knowledge to customize each exhibition to fit the clients' needs.

Each pilot of the PD Factory Team is a champion. With over 35,000 jumps collectively, this team has dominated the competition circuit (domestically and internationally) for the last three years, accumulating three world championship victories and multiple world records along the way.

Additionally, each PD Factory Team pilot is a specialist in his own right, having excelled in all skydiving disciplines: Freefall Formations, Canopy Formations, High-Speed Freefall Acrobatics, Aerial Cinematography, Wing Suit Flight, Fixed-Object Jumping (BASE), and High-Performance Canopy Flight.

From freefall maneuvers to aerial canopy formations to high-speed, breathtaking landings, this team will deliver a show like no other in the world.

The Performances

The PD Factory Team specializes in high-speed parachute flights and landings. Using the latest material technologies from the world's largest parachute manufacturer, the PD Factory Team's aerial maneuvers and landings are revolutionary.

For decades parachute exhibitions have involved bigger, slower parachutes that glide gracefully into the target area, with the parachutist often toting a flag or banner. As impressive and effective as this display may be, it is outdated. The PD Factory Team has pioneered the way for a new kind of parachute flight. Using much smaller, faster parachute "wings," PD Team pilots spiral toward the ground at 80 mph, then with spectacular precision and consistency, pull out of the dive and soar across the earth's surface at over 60 mph and for several hundred feet.

This type of landing, commonly referred to as "swooping," can be done over land or water, and can also be executed in unison, with up to five PD Team pilots spiraling and swooping in perfect synchronization.

At a golf course, for example, our performance might include a 720-degree diving spiral and swoop across a pond, with the final touchdown on the 18th green. The precision and speed of this performance is accentuated as the jumper drags his foot in the water, kicking up a wicked rooster-tail in his wake.

Add to this excitement an entire selection of freestyle maneuvers recently incorporated by the team. Modeled after the Moto-X freestyle maneuvers, the PD Team's swoop tricks can be executed across the ground or water and include names such as the Blindman, Ghostrider, Lay-Z-Boy, Superman, Can-Can and more.

But our most popular performances are the perfectly choreographed team swoops where two or more pilots dive, swoop and touchdown in perfect unison. Or, other variations like the "criss-cross," where two or more pilots swoop past each other head-on at closing speeds in excess of 100 mph.

Flight Crew Options
Solo Performer:
Normal swoop, Basic toe-drag, or Freestyle maneuver.
Two-, Three-, Four-, or Five-man Performance:
Individual swoops in succession or simultaneous swoops in the same or opposite directions, or various combinations of each. (Note: Whether landing solo, side-by-side or head-on, each jumper has the ability to perform a normal swoop, basic toe-drag or a freestyle maneuver, depending on the site conditions and client's needs).

Performance Combinations with multiple pilots (All "simultaneous swoops" can be performed side-by-side or head-to-head):

    Two-man Combinations:
  • Two individual swoops in succession.
  • Two-man simultaneous swoop.
    Three-man Combinations:
  • Three individual swoops in succession.
  • Two-man simultaneous swoop, with solo swooper leading or following in succession.
  • Three-man simultaneous swoop.
    Four-man Combinations:
  • Four individual swoops in succession.
  • Two, two-man simultaneous swoops in succession.
  • Three-man simultaneous swoop, with solo swooper leading or following in succession.
  • Four-man simultaneous swoop.
    Five-man Combinations:
  • Five individual swoops in succession.
  • Two, two-man simultaneous swoops in succession, with solo swooper leading or following or in between the two-man performances.
  • Three-man simultaneous swoop preceded or followed by a two-man simultaneous swoop, or by two solo swoops, or between two solo swoops.
  • Four-man simultaneous swoop, with solo swooper leading or following in succession.
  • Five-man simultaneous swoop.
Special Performances
Boat or Jet-ski Landings:
Small ponds or lakes can be used to accommodate boat or jet-ski landings.
Truck Landings:
Large grass, dirt or paved areas can be used to accommodate truck landings.
Motorcycle or ATV Landings:
Medium grass, dirt or paved areas can be used to accommodate mortorcylce or ATV landings.
Optional Equipment
Smoke Canisters:
Maximize your investment and the visual appeal of your exhibitions by adding smoke. For minimal extra costs, pilots will wear smoke canisters on their feet, leaving a brilliant trail of white or colored smoke for the entire crowd to see.
Flags, Banners or Tubes:
Advertise your company's logo on custom-designed flags, banners or tubes flown by one or all of the team members. (Note: Solo landings required for most medium to large sized flags, banners or tubes)
Video and Photographs:
Capture high-quality, professional video and photographic images for all of your corporate marketing needs. The PD Factory Team includes its own aerial photographer, and all pilots are experienced with helmet-mounted digital video cameras.
Wind Blade and Inflatable Banners:
Accent the event site with custom-designed wind-blades and banners, sporting the company logo or event sponsors.
Ribbons:
A simple, affordable alternative to smoke, ribbons come in a variety of colors and trail behind the jumper, visually enhancing the performance.
